Team for a Day What is Team for a Day?Team for a Day is an opportunity to do a day of 4-way training with SDC Rhythm XP. Teams will be arranged with goals and experience levels in mind. Each team will consist of three participants and one member of Rhythm leading each team. Your team will follow the same process that Rhythm does when we train, with a focus on learning and fun in a non-competitive format. Your Rhythm captain will take care of all of the details -- including manifesting, arranging video, preparing dives and setting goals ahead of time. You'll meet in the morning for stretching and coffee with the whole group. Then, your Rhythm captain will lead the dive preparation, creeping and video debrief throughout the day. You'll repeat each dive twice, so that you can watch the video in between and focus on specific improvements on each dive. We'll aim to do 8-10 jumps during the day. At the end of the day, you'll receive a DVD of the entire day.
Am I good enough to participate in Team for a Day? or Is Team for a Day just for beginners?Team for a Day is great for ALL experience levels, from beginner to experienced 4-way competitor. Anyone who can safely jump with 4 people and video is welcome. Teams are arranged with experience levels in mind so that everyone feels challenged and comfortable. This is a great way for newer jumpers to learn about 4-way and meet new people, existing teams to augment their training, or experienced 4-way folks to do a day of good 4 way without the commitment of a team. Past team for a day participants have ranged from less than 50 jumps to thousands of jumps.
How much does it cost?In addition to your slot, the cost for Team for a Day is $10 per jump which covers video and coaching. Because of the pace of the day, getting yourself a packer is recommended. Rhythm can help coordinate packers.
